How big is a "Yottabyte"?
Well, if the ya had an iPod with 1 Yottabyte capacity and filled it, that would be roughly 2 trillion years of recorded sound, or about 3 centuries for every human being on the planet. To put that into perspective, it’s estimated that the universe is only about 12 - 14 billion years old. So a yottabyte is pretty big.
(This is of course assuming that the sound is 128-kbps AAC encoded....
